As part of Sabon’s ongoing self-care and wellbeing mission, we’re working hard to support our customers and community during these challenging times. We’re proud to help by donating hand and body care products to healthcare communities and will continue to show our gratitude by giving back.

We have created a special limited edition #SabonSelfCare kit in hopes it’ll ease the mind and promote relaxation for each person. For every kit sold, we will also donate one kit to NYU healthcare professionals to provide them with a little bit of sunshine during these uncertain times.

These donations are primarily focused on hand care, face care, and cleansers to help take care of what our Health Care Heroes need most right now!


On April 17th, we introduced our #SabonSelfCare kit. For each kit purchased, we are donating a kit of the same retail value to medical staff in the tri-state area.

Who is eligible?

In order to be eligible, you must:
  • Be an individual who is at least 18 years old (19 years old in Alabama or if you are a ward of the state in Nebraska);
  • Be a resident of the United States and reside within one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia;
  • Be capable of entering into a legally binding contract;
  • Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile telephone number;
  • Provide a valid delivery address in the United States; and
  • Be authorized to use the Payment Method provided (US-issued debit or credit card); and
  • Place an order of at least $35.

Is there a cost to use Afterpay?

Afterpay is a free service when you pay on time - there are no upfront fees charged or any interest incurred. The only fees that may be incurred by shoppers are late fees if your scheduled payments are unsuccessfully processed and, after being notified, you do not log in to your Afterpay account to make your payment via a different method. Late fees for shoppers in the USA are capped at 25% of the order value. 

When do I make my first payment?

You will pay the first installment of the purchase price at the time you place the order. Afterpay will also send you a confirmation email outlining the amounts and dates that the payments are due.

Why is my first payment higher than the other three?

For some purchases, if your total order amount exceeds your Afterpay-approved spending limit the first payment may be higher than subsequent payments. Afterpay will show you how the installments are split before you pay.

What happens to my payments when I refund an order?

In general, refunds are applied starting with your final payment and working backwards to earlier payments.

Full Refunds

If you have returned an order in its entirety and the full amount of the order is refunded, any upcoming payments will be cancelled and any payments you have already made will be refunded back to the card you paid with.

Partial Refunds

The same principles apply if you’ve returned a portion of an order and received a partial refund. Let’s use the below example to show how this works.

Order #123456 totaled $100, and the first payment of $25 was made at the time of purchase.

Original Payment Schedule:

Order #123456 $100.00 Payment Status
First Payment $25 Paid
Second Payment $25 Due in 2 weeks
Third Payment $25 Due in 4 weeks
Fourth Payment $25 Due in 6 weeks

The order total was $100 & a refund of $80 was processed.
However, prior to the second payment being made, items totalling $80 were returned. After the $80 refund was processed, the second, third, and fourth payments were cancelled. Additionally, the first payment was retroactively adjusted to $20 and the $5 balance was refunded back to the original card the payment was made with.

Payment Schedule after the $80 refund is processed:

Is Afterpay safe?

Afterpay is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified compliant Service Provider organization. PCI DSS is a comprehensive set of requirements created by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council to enhance cardholder data security and to ensure the safe handling and storage of sensitive credit card information and data.  This is the highest level of security in the payment industry.
